Runnable is a running trainer app for iOS. This policy explains what data the app uses and how.
Runnable stores the following data locally on your iPhone using iOS secure storage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server:
All of this data is deleted permanently when you uninstall the app.
When the Motivational Coach feature is enabled, Runnable generates spoken audio cues using a text-to-speech service. To do this, short coaching phrases (e.g. "Here we go — first one. Find an easy rhythm.") are sent from your device to our audio server, which in turn calls the ElevenLabs text-to-speech API.
These phrases are fixed coaching scripts — they contain no personal information about you. The generated audio is cached on your device so the same phrase is only requested once. ElevenLabs processes these requests in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
If the Motivational Coach is turned off, no data leaves your device at all.
Runnable requests access to audio playback. This is used to play coaching cues and keep audio running while your screen is locked during a workout. Runnable does not record audio from your microphone.
Runnable is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
